I started doing ballet as an adult absolute beginner. It was a long dream of mine, and Lori has helped me over the years to become a graceful and confident dancer. She is absolutely the kindest teacher, who always sees our potential and inspires us to challenge ourselves, while at the same time respecting our worse days. Dancing here has been an escape, and just so much fun!

Lori is the absolute best ballet teacher in Gothenburg. She is always pushing us to be better but in a gentle caring way. We always laugh and have so much fun. I started as an absolute beginner with her and she is simply amazing. She meets every student where they are at and helps them meet their ballet goals whether that is joyful movement or performing in pointe shoes. She’s build an amazing space that I love going to every week 💖

Ballet Gothenburg, a community ballet studio, was conceived in 2018 out of the simple desire to share the art of ballet with adults wishing to come back to class after many years or for the very first time. Deeply rooted in American ballet, it is a place for adult dancers to feel at home, welcome, seen, and taken as seriously as any other ballet student. It is also a place for those just curious what ballet is about or looking for a fun way to exercise. Ballet is for any age, any body type, anyone wanting or wiling to learn. It is never ever too late to begin or begin again. All classes are taught in English.
