Deep Tissue Massage - 1hr

75 min
Deep Tissue Massage - 1hr, 90mins, 2hrs *** DEEP TISSUE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH PRESSURE *** It is how we work on the body. We are working more specific, focused, detailed and smaller areas of the body ( vs. working quickly through the whole body ). This ensures that we have the time to get into the deeper layers of the tissue - hence “deep tissue”. The focus is on the muscle tissue, fascia/ myofascia, ligaments & tendons and much more. Pressure is always customized to what is comfortable for the client. Every area will have different pressure and will be acclimated based off of how the body responds, as well as how your body moves us therapists. Deep Tissue has longer lasting results from aches, pains, injuries, scar tissue, chronic issues & circulation. Usually you can get instant relief starting at 3-5 days, and with on-going, consistent visits, it can even achieve permanent alleviation of chronic issues. It can be considered more of a “therapy”, but it actually relaxes you more than a relaxation massage. It releases more endorphins ( such as serotonin ) and can be highly detoxing. Craniosacral Therapy

2

CranioSacral Therapy - 1hr

75 min
CranioSacral - 1hr or 90mins CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance. It was pioneered and developed by Osteopathic Physician John E. Upledger after years of clinical testing and research at Michigan State University where he served as professor of biomechanics. Using a soft touch which is generally no greater than 5 grams – about the weight of a small coin – practitioners release restrictions in the soft tissues that surround the central nervous system. Mostly very slight to little movements on a physical level, but still gaining big results. Other than the heart & respiratory systems, there is an additional rhythm within the body that is worked on to restore balance & symmetry, as well as the movement of cerebrospinal fluid. CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and it’s effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction. Multiple ( about 3 ) sessions minimum are recommended to begin to achieve major break-throughs. It takes time to get your body balanced & synced. But we also recommend not waiting too long in-between sessions if you plan on working through the series. There are two steps with different procedures, and you have to complete step one at least 1-2X’s before you can begin step two. A customized plan will be set in place with you and your therapist. You will remain clothed on top of table, so please wear comfortable clothing ( usually exercise, sweats, yoga clothing is best - no jeans or dresses/ skirts ) For more information, please visit the following link : https://www.healingelementstherapy.com/craniosacral-details.html
